AMS News Bulletin Spring 2017

This edition features integrated pest and disease management (IPDM) as well R&D Update, Macadamia Conservation Trust news, coverage of the China marketing campaign, and AMS and industry news.

IPDM is becoming increasingly important in orchard management. The feature examines timing and coverage for effective IPDM, an update on Sigastus weevil and its control and pollination.

The R&D Update details progress with the macadamia planting systems trial, the value of inter-row insectaries for beneficials, early tree training, and improving yield using component traits and genomics.
